Mamenchisaurus had the longes neck of any animal known to us. When living its neck was even longer than a giraffe. Its neck measured almost 50 feet long, and it was made up of 19 vertebrae (a bone of the spine).
Tyrannosaurus rex was as long as Mamenchisaurus neck. Mamenchisaurus traveled in herds (groups of animals), always looking for food to support its huge body.
