Wuerhosaurus lived during the Early Cretaceous Period, about 130 million years ago in what is now China. Wuerhosaurus is one of the last stegosaurs, it lived 20 million years after its early ancestors, when this herbivores were on their prime during the late Jurassic. Wuerhosaurus had short plates on their backs, they had a slight curvature on them. At the end of its tail, Wuerhosaurus may have grown four pointy spines, but this is just a speculation since no complete fossil skeleton has been found of this dinosaur. Wuerhosaurus is one of the few stegosaurs that lived during the Cretaceous Period.
