Zuniceratops lived during the Late Cretaceous Period, about 92 million years ago in what is now New Mexico, USA. Zuniceratops was a small primitive horned dinosaur. It had a large frill and beak like skull, large horns above its eyes. Zuniceratops is the oldest ceratopsian for which brow horns are known. Ceratopsian groups are known from Asia and North America, but so far is not clear on which continent these dinosaurs evolved from.
