Cryptosaurus is a dubious genus of dinosaur known from a partial femur found in what is now England. Cryptosaurus lived during the Late Jurassic Period. It was named by paleontologist Harry Seeley, in 1869. Cryptosaurus is considered to be an ankylosaurian. Cryptosaurus is sometimes refer as Cryptodraco, but this is an error.
