Acrocanthosaurus was a large Carnivore (meat-eating dinosaur). Acrocanthosaurus' fossils have been discovered in Oklahoma, Texas and Utah. Acrocanthosaurus is famous for the tall spines on its back and on its tail. Some of these spines were as tall as 2 feet. Acrocanthosaurus grew up to 2.5 tons in weight.
