Altispinax is believed to be a large carnivore. All is know from this dinosaur is from a tooth that was found in Germany. This tooth had a thickened, blade-like edge. This tooth was later linked to vertebrae found at an English site. These vertebrae belonged to the dinosaur Altispinax.
