Wannanosaurus lived during the Cretaceous Period, about 85 million years ago in what is now China. Wannanosaurus is one of the smallest dinosaurs yet discovered. It measured 2 feet in length. Wannanosaurus had a small ahead with a thick skull. Its jaws were filled with short sharp teeth. Wannanosaurus had short arms, with clawed fingers. A heavy tail and strong muscles on its hindlegs. Wannanosaurus is believed to have been a herbivore, feeding on low-growing plants, and may have been a herd dinosaur.
