Sinornithoides lived during the Early Cretaceous Period, about 121 million years ago in what is now China. Sinornithoides was on e of the smallest carnivore dinosaurs known. It was about the size of a turkey. It had long powerful legs, it may have been a fast runner given its size and body composition. Sinornithoides may have been a smart dinosaur, since it had a large brain cavity. Sinornithoides also had a long, whip-like tail, it was as long as its body, its tail played an important role for balance, and for sudden turns while chasing prey. Sinornithoides probably hunted small animals.
