Utahraptor lived during the Early Cretaceous Period, about 125 million years ago in what is now Utah, USA. Utahraptor is the largest known dromaeosaur. It is twice the size of Deinonychus. Perhaps one of the deadliest of all dinosaur predators. Utahraptor had a huge, sickle shaped slashing talon on each foot and sharp claws on its hands. When fully grown, its deadly claw would grow to about a foot in length. Utahraptor is be lived to have been an agile predator. It possessed powerful legs, a long stiff tail which aid the dinosaur to maintain its balance while chasing its prey. Utahraptor would use this speed in combination with brute force to bring down its prey. Its huge tail was sure to inflict deep wounds by slashing out with its feet. Utahraptor would jump on its victims backs, once on the back, it will hold on with its grasping hands and sharp serrated flesh cutting teeth. It will use its killer claws to tear into an unprotected part of its victim's body, such as its belly.
