Conchoraptor oviraptorid from the Late Cretaceous Period, fossil remains have been found in what is now Asia. Conchoraptor gracilis, was described by Barsbold, in 1986. It was a small dinosaur measuring about 5 feet (2 meters) in length. Conchoraptor lacked a head crest like other oviraptors, and possessed a powerful beak instead of teeth.
