Paradapedon

Paradapedon lived during the Triassic Period 210 million years ago in what is now Asia. It measured 4 feet (1.3 meters) long. Paradapedon had a barrel shaped, pig like body, also known as "rhynchosaur". It was a quadruped. Rhynchosaurs were the most abundant reptiles of the Mid-Late Triassic Period 220-200 million years ago. Paradapedon was a herbivore. It had a beak that was used to bite tough plant material, such as seed ferns.
