Diet Herbivore
Algoasaurus bauri was a quadruped herbivore that is not well known, since only one vertebra, a single leg bone, and a hoof have been found. The small size of the fossil suggests that it may be a half grown juvenile. It appears that Algoasaurus was a small sauropod less than half the size of an adult Diplodocus. From the shape of its vertebra some scientists have classified this animal to be in the diplodocid family, but others have classified it as a titanosaurid sauropod.
